Finding Purpose in Life Isn’t About Searching. It’s About Returning

There Was a Moment I Couldn’t Ignore Anymore
I remember a season in my life where everything looked… in place.
I was showing up.
Doing what I was supposed to do.
Being who I thought I needed to BE.
And yet, there was a quiet emptiness I couldn’t explain.
Not loud.
Not chaotic.
Just… present.
It followed me in the still moments.
In the pauses between doing.
In the silence I tried to avoid.
And the question kept rising:
“Is this really it?”
At the time, I thought I was searching for something more.
I thought I needed clarity, direction… purpose.
But what I didn’t realize then,
was that my journey of finding purpose in life had nothing to do with searching outward.
It had everything to do with returning inward.
Finding Purpose in Life Is Not What You’ve Been Told
We’ve been taught that purpose is something you build.
Something you chase.
Something you earn through doing more, achieving more, becoming more.
But that way of BEing will keep you in a constant cycle of striving…
and still feeling unfulfilled.
Because purpose isn’t created through pressure.
It is revealed through alignment.
And alignment doesn’t happen when you’re constantly moving.
It happens when you allow yourself to pause long enough to hear what’s already within you.
The Disconnection We Don’t Talk About
What I’ve come to understand, through my own journey and through the women I support, is this:
Many women are not lacking purpose.
They are disconnected from it.
And disconnection doesn’t always look like falling apart.
Sometimes it looks like:
Being successful, but not satisfied
Giving to everyone, but feeling empty
Carrying responsibilities, but losing yourself in the process
Knowing something feels off… but not knowing how to name it
It’s subtle.
And because it’s subtle, it gets ignored.
Until your soul begins to whisper louder than your routine.

What Changed for Me (And What I Now Offer)
There came a moment where I had to stop running from the feeling.
Not fix it.
Not push through it.
Not distract myself from it.
But actually BE with it.
And in that space… something shifted.
I realized I had been living from patterns of overgiving.
From expectations.
From a version of myself that knew how to survive, but not how to feel fully aligned.
And I had to make a decision.
To return.
Not to a new version of myself…
but to the truth of who I already was.
And that return began with reconnecting with God, not from obligation, but from relationship.
Finding Purpose in Life Through Your Connection with God
There is a difference between asking,
“What should I do with my life?”
…and allowing yourself to BE guided in how to live it.
When you reconnect with God in an intentional way, something softens.
You no longer feel like you have to figure everything out on your own.
You begin to:
Trust what you’re feeling
Move with intention instead of pressure
Receive clarity without forcing it
Because purpose was never meant to be something you chase.
It was always meant to be something you walk in… as you stay connected.
My Asking: Allow Yourself to See This Differently
If you’ve been feeling lost…
uncertain…
or disconnected from yourself…
I want you to pause here.
Not to judge where you are.
Not to rush into fixing anything.
But to simply consider:
What if nothing is missing?
What if the answer you’ve been searching for
has been waiting for you to slow down…
and return?
You are not behind.
You are not doing life wrong.
You are being invited, gently, back into alignment.

A Different Way of BEing
Finding purpose in life is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about allowing yourself to BE who you were always created to BE, without the layers of pressure, expectation, and disconnection.
And from that place…
Your choices begin to align.
Your boundaries become clearer.
Your energy shifts.
Not because you forced it,
but because you returned to yourself.
My Offering: Begin Where You Are
If something in you resonated while reading this…
I want you to take a moment.
Not to figure everything out.
Not to make a big decision.
Just to pause.
Place your hand over your heart.
And ask yourself:
“Where have I been disconnected from myself?”
That awareness alone… is a beginning.
And if you feel ready to go deeper, I’m holding space for you.
